Members of the 2022 MHSAA 6A State Champion MHS Lady Wildcat Basketball Team are our guests on the latest edition of the True Blue Podcast. We sat down with Head Coach Deneshia Faulkner and players Debreasha Powe, Kayli Hite, and Taleah Anderson to talk about winning the 2022 MHSAA 6A State Title, team chemistry, and more.

The Meridian Lady Wildcats Basketball Team accomplished something no other Lady Wildcat basketball team had done before. Led by senior Debreasha Powe, the Lady Wildcats basketball team won its first state championship in school history by defeating Harrison Central 49-43 in the MHSAA 6A Girls Basketball Finals in Jackson, MS on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
